ACCUFED Wire Feeder
Ardee "ACCUFED" Wire Feeder Machine is the result of 25 years long experience in the field of metallurgical process control and improving upon the shortcoming of the existing wire feeding system in the market.
Advantage was taken of the latest developments in the international market and suitably adapting to the severe duty of steel plant working conditions. Highly rugged, very accurate feeding and flexibility to add a number of strands to the wire-feeder are the advantages. Wire Feeder is presently the best technique available for injecting reacting agents into molten steel.
Through this Cored Wires and solid Aluminium wires are injected into the melt. Provision for automatic transmission of the command for the amount of wire addition can be integrated with the Active Oxygen measurement system such as Multilab Celox.
This option can be given based on the customer’s requirement.

Introduction It is a robust heavy-duty unit consisting of a positively driven gearbox with 3 pairs of heavy-duty grooved / notched rolls heat treated and hardened. There are a total of 9 rolls with middle 3 rolls being the driving rolls and the upper 3 (Track-I) and the lower 3 (Track-II) being the idler rolls. Pneumatic cylinders actuate either of these sets of rolls and adjust pressure to ensure proper movement of the wires. The wire-feeding machine is designed for cored and solid wires of 9-13 mm diameter, which are now the most common wire diameter used universally. Machines for the other diameter can also be offered as a special case. Our wire feeder ranges from Single Strand to 4-Strand Wire Feeder Machine. Additional wire feeder can be easily added for feeding multiple wires without additional space being occupied since the wire feeders can be fixed as MODULES one over the other.
RAMDARS
Coal occurs as layers beneath the earth’s surface. Each layer/sub layer represents the deposition over certain duration. When that duration is over, an earth/shale/rocky mass overlays. Thus the coal-shale-coal-shale layering takes place and at times inclusions of pyrite, calcite/dolomite and other minerals make up a coal seam. Sections of a seam and different seams, with parting in between, comprises the resource underground.
Wet cleaning in close size ranges and more particularly with finely ground coal is a proven practice but the accompanying involvements discourage the attempt, more so with low rank coal and lignite.
In this situation as at present and in the global context, the radiometric on-line stone-shale detection-cum-automated removal of the identified unwanted materials has emerged as a viable solution, a breakthrough in the ambit of dry beneficiation.
The Developmental Work :
The new technique comprises an extension of the radiometric on-line coal ash quality evaluation system, called RAMM, developed in Germany by ANATEC Gmbh. The RAMM system derives the data in regard to the ash content and tonnage from the attenuation of the dual gamma ray emission of Cesium 137 and Americium 241. The dual gamma rays pass through the coal bed on a running belt, duly integrating the instant values to shift/day/hour/consignment weighted overalls, all through specially designed software run in a dedicated computer.
The extension of the above system, called RAMDARS, is an innovative contribution of M/s ARDEE Hi-Tech Private Ltd., Visakhapatnam and their collaborators M/s ANATEC Gmbh, Germany. It uses the Cesium 137 emission-attenuation and the resultant density evaluation for the purpose of shale-stone removal. This is achieved by fixing up a threshold value for the density. The recording of an instantaneous higher density signifies the presence of a "stone" whereby a signal is directed to perform the task of activating a pneumatic solenoid value to open/close a flap/grate. The opening/closing of the flap/grate is governed by the time schedule in milliseconds defined in terms of a cycle of 55 milliseconds.
The Application Aspects:
In its application, the flap/grate control is governed by many factors. One, the size of the piece itself, Two, its orientation and Three its vicinity or in other words, the nature of the next piece, whether coal or non-coal. Thus the actual removal is influenced by the belt speed and the belt speed depends on the size. The basic principle is to provide adequate coverage of the "correctness" of the density record with reference to the piece as a whole. The identification and removal is based on a QUEQUE logic.
ARDEE Auto-Lance
The molten metal levels in the ladles, contrary to the popular belief, are not always the same. As a result, sampling and other measurements are normally carried out at different depths in the molten Metal. With Ardee Auto-Lance sampling and other Molten Metal measurements are always carried out at the exact depth below slag - molten metal interface regardless of the molten metal level or thickness of the slag.

ARCO Cored Wire
ARDEE, a leading manufacturer of different types of ARCO Cored wire pioneers in the treatment of molten iron and steel by cored wire injection. In a nutshell, ARCO cored wire injection is an economical, efficient and latest technique for improving the steel quality.
Numerous studies have shown that steel quality can be improved by treatment with different alloys. In particular, the degree of purity, and consequently the directional toughness properties can be significantly increased. Due to the high vapor pressure of pure calcium at molten steel temperatures, alloys, especially calcium-silicon, have always been used for the addition of calcium. The conventional addition of calcium alloys was unsatisfactory, part of the calcium vaporized, part reacted with the slag. The yield of calcium obtained in the molten steel varied significantly and in any case was very low.

TECHNICAL FEATURES :
A layer of alumina having thickness from 0.4 to 0.8 mm is diffused into the body of steel pipe from both inside and outside the tube. A ceramic coating is also produced over the calorised portion, again both inside and outside of the wall of steel pipe giving the much desired refractoriness. Selective diffusion of Silicon, Chromium and Boron can also be done for improving the steel surface properties of wear resistance, resistance to acids, alkalis and sea water and also high temperature oxidation and corrosion resistance.
Diffused coating develops a molecular bond around 0.4 to 0.8 mm inside the steel surface and hence is far superior in performance to any physical coating process.
ADVANTAGES
Strong and excellent refractoriness. Resistance against heat erosion and spalling Speedy de-carbonization because of longer life and superior heat resistance. There is no decrease in its strength and pipe remains straight resulting in optimum metal - oxygen interaction. Greater efficiency of reaction with oxygen. Pipes can be inserted deeper into liquid metal without bending and hence quick melting is achieved. This also avoids bubbling of oxygen near the surface of ladles.
Considering the above advantage, cost reduction, and various other saving can be quantified- such as electric power, decrease in consumption of electrodes, lower melting time prolonged life of pipes and saving in cost per ton of molten metal.
Vibrators
Vibration is an oscillation. It is generated when a mass is shifted from its centre of gravity. A mass put into movement generates ENERGY. This energy and its applications are calculated with the help of vibration technique.
The applied vibration technique requires so-called vibration generators, e. g. vibrators, functioning as drive. The external vibrators directs a force into the matter to be moved through an energy input in periodically alternating directions. With the circular vibration, the centrifugal force continuously changes its direction. The structure linked with the vibrator shows elliptical track. With the linear vibration, however, a unidirectional vibration is caused by a reciprocating movement. There are three types of energy applied for driving the vibrators: Pneumatic, Electric or Hydraulic

CONVEYING
The individual parts of the materials to be conveyed are pushed against under a certain throwing angle to create a chain of almost parallel micro throwing movement, thus originating a migration movement in one direction.
SOLVING
Individual pieces of bulk material are broken off to a compound mass by means of vibration. The reduction of friction existing between single material particles or the surmounting of strong adhesion forces results in a perforation of the compound mass.
COMPRESSING
Here, reduction of friction existing between the different material components results in a rearrangement within the material. Gravity generates a maximum storing density with a simultaneous desecration.

On-Line Coal Analysis
On-Line analysis of coal means the continuous measurement of Ash in coal, at the production or user end. It gives instantaneous information on coal quality giving the operations personnel real time data on coal ash and quality.
The on-line analysis system is far superior to the present method of laboratory analysis taken at intervals. But by the present or latter method a time gap is created between sampling and receipt of results and the sample are to small to be a representative. Thereby analysis through random sampling is likely to lead to misleading results in a situation where the coal quality is drastically changing.
RAMM – the ideal system
The Radiometric Ash Measurement systems - RAMM was developed in Germany and perfected through use all over the world. RAMM promises new vistas in monitoring and control of coal quality on a continuing basis – at the mines, during transit, preparation, blending and use. The result – control over quality. The RAMM system can be easily installed on existing conveyor belts.
